Osteoporosis exercise class
It’s a class consisting of weight bearing exercises, muscle strength, balance and flexibility exercises. The weight bearing and external weight exercises force the body to work against gravity, this helps to strengthen bones. The balance exercises are beneficial to hold the body upright, which helps to prevent falls. The last component of this class is stretching and flexibility which keeps joints mobile and muscle limber. This class is recommended for people who suffer from osteoporosis or osteopenia.
